NeoCore Uranium Property
The Company, through its subsidiary, NeoCore Uranium Ltd. holds a 100% interest in the NeoCore Uranium Property (the “Property”) comprising of six (6) mineral claims covering 13,012 hectares, located in the Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan.
Location
The Property is located on the eastern flank of the Athabasca Basin, about 65 kilometres southeast of the McArthur River Uranium Mine. It is underlain by Neoarchean River Granites, a geologic unit associated with uranium fertility in both Canadian and global analogs. The Property area is directly adjacent to renowned uranium mining and exploration companies including CanAlaska Uranium Ltd., Skyharbour Resources Ltd. and Baselode Energy Corp.
Geophysics
The claims are situated in a structurally complex zone with potential for granitic-hosted, unconformity-related and basement-hosted uranium systems, consistent with key discovery models in Saskatchewan and globally. The NeoCore Project lies within the central parts of the Wollaston Domain basement rocks, which host world-class uranium mines such as Key Lake, Cigar Lake, McArthur River, and Rabbit Lake. The Wollaston Domain contains the majority of Saskatchewan’s most prolific uranium deposits due to its deepcrustal fluid pathways, major fault corridors, and extensive history of uranium remobilization and concentration. Exploration success in the Wollaston Domain has been driven by its role as a fertile basement setting for both unconformity-type and basement-hosted uranium systems, particularly along its structural margins and granite contacts.
Exploration
In 2021, ALX Resources (now part of Greenridge Exploration) acquired the 100% owned Javelin Uranium Project in northern Saskatchewan, which included the claims of the NeoCore Project, staking mineral claims encompassing 25,312 hectares. Exploration successes just outside the Basin margin had been reported in the vicinity of the Javelin Project, including high-grade uranium mineralization on surface by Valor Resources Limited and subsurface drill intersections by 92 Energy Ltd. (now part of Atha Energy Corp.) and Baseload Energy Corp. In fall 2021, ALX completed a high-resolution airborne magnetic and radiometric survey over Javelin, which identified multiple anomalies of interest. Prospecting followed to ground-truth selected anomalies. In April 2023, ALX submitted applications for surface exploration permits to conduct geological mapping, ground geophysics, and prospecting, based on the 2021 airborne survey results and initial site visits.
